What is the product availability throughout the year?

When is the market open?

Summer market goes from May-Oct and is every Saturday from 7:30-noon.  Winter market is every 1st &3rd Saturday and runs 9-noon.

Where is the market located?

2nd & Main streets, downtown Winona is our summer location.  210 Zumbro is our indoor location.

Where can I park?

On-street parking is available.  There are several city lots adjacent to the market.

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, pets are not allowed in the market with the exception of service animals.

What if the weather is bad?

The Winona Farmers Market is open “rain or shine”.

Can I use a credit card for purchases?

A few of our vendors have their own machines and are able to process your card.  Just ask!

Where is the nearest ATM / cash machine?

The Winona Farmers Market does not have an ATM/cash machine.  However, we have a card reader that can exchange your debit/credit card for tokens to be spent at market.  Stop by the Coordinator’s Booth for more information.

Do you accept EBT cards?

The Winona Farmers Market accepts EBT/SNAP benefits.  Customers can receive extra benefits when they spend $10 at the market. They will receive $20 more!  Stop by the Coordinator’s Booth on Saturdays to find out more.

Is the market wheelchair accessible?

Yes.  Both our outdoor and indoor markets are wheelchair accessible.

Do you have organically grown food?

The Winona Farmers Market has several certified organic farms.  However, some of our vendors grow organically and do not have their certification.  Ask your farmer about their growing practices if this is important to you. They are happy to answer.

How do I volunteer?

The Winona Farmers Market is working to establish a “Friends of the Market” group to coordinate volunteer opportunities. Stay tuned…
